When TimeTravel-Britain.com launched in 2005, it attracted around 27,000 visitors in its first six months. Today, it draws approximately 40,000 visitors per month -- visitors from around the world who want to find out more about the best and most beautiful destinations in England.

These visitors want to know more about where to stay, where to eat, where to shop, and where to experience England's historic destinations. Though we no longer accept new content for TimeTravel-Britain.com, we do offer advertising opportunities to companies who fit within our editorial focus: Basically, anything to do with travel and history in Great Britain! We welcome advertisements from accommodations, tour operators, visitor attractions, and even retailers or crafters who offer products of interest to the history-loving traveler.

We offer four advertising options. All adds appear throughout the site, except for the last, single page option.

1) A rotating banner that will be seen at the top of every article.

Dimensions: 500x100 pixels

Rate: $150 for six months, $250 for one year

2) Side button ads

Half-Button: 120x60 pixels

Rate: $15 per month, $60 for six months, $100 for one year

Full-Button: 120x120 pixels

Rate: $20 per month, $100 for six months, $150 for one year (best value!)

Side-button ads will be added to the left and right columns in the order received (in the left column they will begin below the "today in history" feature).

3) Text Links

Rate: $10 per month, $50 for six months, $90 for one year

Text links are limited to 2-3 words and will appear under a "Recommended Resources" header in the left side column, below any button ads. Text links are NOT pro-rated - the minimum listing is one month.

4) Single-Page advertisements

Rate: $50 per six-month period; 50% discount for each additional page

Since many services are location-specific, we also offer the option of advertising a product, service, accommodation, etc. in association with a single article or several related articles. For example, if you wished to advertise an accommodation in Salisbury, you could place an advertisement on each of our Salisbury-related pages. Single-page advertisements consist of a banner listing, 500x100 pixels, that appears at the BOTTOM of each page selected. The rate begins at $50 for six months for the first page, and additional pages can be added at $25/6 months per page.
